Here’s a piece that I worked on for around four months and is easily the largest digital piece I’ve made to date (16000 x 12000 px)
This project is a meditation on temptation and desire that came to me back in December 2018 when I was fooling around and indulging in vices on a solo night of debauchery. Eventually, amidst the chaos I brought upon myself, I sat, crossed my legs, and closed my eyes with my head to my sound system. Yaeji’s “One More” played and this psychedelic landscape painted itself in my mind. Quickly, I wrote down all I could remember rendering in as much detail as I could, similar to dream journaling. Recreating the image had me thinking not only the waste of indulgence but the beauty of desire and the balance that we need to strike in order to live a productive yet fulfilling life.
