Gods of War

In late 2018 I played through the latest God of War game and absolutely loved it, it was the first time I really fallen into a video game world since Breath of the Wild a year and a half earlier. It was an incredible experience, but I came out of crushing Sigrun feeling empty, having poured 40-50 hours into the play through.

After realizing the amount of blood put towards that stone, I decided to create something from that period, and without further ado, I present Kratos and Atreus in their victorious glory.

Matching my time spent on the Lake of Nine, it took roughly 50 hours to create this. It was tedious and difficult and I contemplated scraping the project several times, but in the end I learned more about Clip Studio Paint than I ever had in a single project.
