Ghost Park is a contemporary fiction piece. The story follows Clay as he leaves his home by cargo train one night and ends up in an abandoned park in an unknown city. It explores the nature of art, media, isolation, and what it means to be alive.
The initial concept was written for Professor Bob Siegle’s Contemporary Fiction class, in which we had to write in the style of the authors we studied, such as Kathy Acker, Carl Watson, and Kate Zambreno. It was later revised for Professor Jeff Mann’s Advanced Fiction Workshop and again for Professor Matthew Volmer’s Hybrid Forms- incorporating mixed forms of writing.
This work is intended for mature audiences.
