Painting is one of my favorite expressive mediums; a place where I can freely flow into the canvas. I get caught in the rhythm and the tactility of it all. Due to this, my paintings often build bold textures, vivid colors, and sweeping movement, as the dance of each brush stroke is captured on in the greater piece. My paintings range from conceptual art to portraits, and from nature scenes to the abstract.
Conceptual

My conceptual work stems from visions I’ve experienced and brought back to the this world. Let the imagination run wild!
Natural

Nature is one of my greatest inspirations and I have a deep reverence for our planet Earth. There’s a spiritual feeling to wander into the wilderness and come back with a fresh desire to create.
Abstraction

I find abstract art to be one of the freest forms of expression. I get lost in the dance of the colors and come out the other end with a raw extraction of the moment.
Mixed Media & Collage

Sometimes, paint alone cannot contain my vision and I start to play mix mediums and new elements. Once the glue comes out, the fun multiplies during the creative process.
Portraits

I like to honor individuals by committing them to the canvas- usually for a special occasion, such as a memory of life or marriage. These portraits tend to lean towards the impressionistic as I like to play with the natural colors of each photo reference.
Animals

Animals hold a special wisdom, a magic reflected back at us to remind us that we too came from this Earth. I believe animals bring us together with that unobserved power.
Collaborations

What’s more fun than adding glue to you painting? Adding friends of course! Painting with other’s is a wonderful way to forge bonds while getting creative and silly. I often approach these collabs from a very free form perspective, automatically painting and letting each moment influence by brush while focusing on balancing out and potentially enhancing my collaborators efforts.
