Autumn Enthralls

I love the way trees seem to call

Bursting aflame during the fall

Orange petal leaves splattered on green

D string~ strum~ G string

Music,

Beauty on a coat rack

The fabrics of melon

Honey dew beneath cantaloupe fruit

Tea to loosen up and touch the ground

Feel the grass honeyed with dew

Lose all doubt, then

Sip some coffee to make things fast

I feel like walking on clouds would be a blast

Cumulonimbus, Cirrostratus

Rumor has it to be a special playground

Rolling marshmallow hills

Yellowed by the setting sun

Great campfire strung above filled with molten pillow guts

Is this even a game?

Its just menu after menu with different price tags

I just want a space to play and find my own way

Climb a mountain, swim a river

Aint nothing too high or too wide

Why do we take the fun out of everything?

TV claims the living space like octopi

Clawing the walls with cubic tendrils

A portal to a digital dimension

Where dreams are alive,

Let’s turn it off

Soul sucker

Good night

Five-hour power outage

Trip to electric dream theater

Lives past the day’s shadows

Arrange to entertain the sleeper

Distract from the fact he’s about to die

Androids and sheep desire nightlights whiles

The brain toys and synapses fire

Dark blocks mock and tease

Rest now you pitiful beast

No No No

Pull the chord and rise from bed

Lull and boredom dumb dumb

Dumbfounded during a night of dread

Eddisons bulb paved way to endless screens full of soothsayers screams

The need to chill keeps me up at night.
